Common first checks

My DATEV export is blocked. What should I do first?

Open the dashboard and fix the red blocking items first. The app's setup checks are designed to surface missing business identity, tax settings, invoice numbering, or other required configuration before export generation.

Does my accountant need Shopify access?

No. The merchant can download the CSV manually or create a Magic Link so the accountant can download DATEV export batches directly without a Shopify login.

Where is the full help center?

Use the FAQ and self-help page for setup, tax modes, VAT ID format, ZUGFeRD, DATEV exports, GoBD rules, troubleshooting, and billing questions.

Where should merchants start?

Start with the setup guide, then share the accountant guide before the first live handoff. That resolves most launch-week questions without a support thread.
