Service scope
Kedalion GPSR helps merchants build product-level safety disclosures, store manufacturer and EU representative details, manage warnings and document links, preview customer-facing text, and publish storefront safety disclosures through Shopify-managed workflows.
Kedalion GPSR is workflow software. It is not legal advice, does not replace legal review, does not provide product testing or certification, and does not guarantee that a merchant's catalog or operations satisfy any specific regulatory requirement.
Merchant responsibilities
The merchant is responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and publication timing of all product safety information entered into the app, including manufacturer details, EU representative details, warnings, country of origin, and document URLs.
The merchant is responsible for identifying and appointing any required manufacturer, importer, authorized representative, fulfillment-service provider, or EU responsible person. Kedalion does not become the merchant's responsible person by providing the app.
The merchant is also responsible for confirming that any storefront disclosure generated through the app is appropriate for the relevant products, storefront markets, and business processes.
Platform dependency
Kedalion GPSR operates in connection with Shopify and may rely on Shopify APIs, Shopify themes, authentication flows, and standard hosting or database infrastructure. Some functionality depends on the merchant's Shopify configuration and the availability of third-party platform services outside Kedalion's control.
Acceptable use and support
The merchant must not misuse the app, interfere with its security or availability, attempt unauthorized access, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law or Shopify platform rules.
Support for Kedalion GPSR is provided through the in-app help materials, the public support documentation, and the app support contact at hello@kedalion.app.
Billing and changes
If paid plans, trials, or charges apply, they will be presented through the Shopify App Store listing, the Shopify billing flow, or other merchant-facing pricing materials associated with the app. Kedalion may update pricing, features, limits, or support boundaries prospectively.
Suspension and termination
The merchant may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from Shopify. Kedalion may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, non-payment, platform compliance, or operational integrity.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kedalion GPSR is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without guarantees of uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or regulatory sufficiency. Kedalion will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive losses arising from use of the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kedalion's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the app will not exceed the amount the merchant paid for Kedalion GPSR during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Data handling
Data handling for Kedalion GPSR is described in the app-specific privacy notice. By using the app, the merchant authorizes Kedalion to process app data as described in that notice for authentication, product workflow, configuration, support, and service operation.
