Short answers for merchants, support teams, and reviewers evaluating the disclosure-builder workflow.
Does Kedalion GPSR make my store compliant?
No. The app helps organize, preview, and publish disclosure information. Merchants remain responsible for legal review, product safety evidence, representative appointments, and final compliance decisions.
Does Kedalion become my EU responsible person?
No. Kedalion provides software only. The merchant must identify and appoint any required manufacturer, importer, authorized representative, fulfillment-service provider, or EU responsible person.
What information should I gather before using the app?
Gather manufacturer details, EU representative details where applicable, safety warnings, hazard summaries, age limits, country of origin, CE evidence, batch or serial tracking notes, and public links to manuals or declarations.
Where should document links point?
Use public, stable https:// URLs for manuals, declarations, safety sheets, certificates, or instructions. Avoid Shopify admin URLs, temporary signed links, and private cloud-drive links that customers cannot open.
Should I use shop defaults?
Use defaults only when the same value genuinely applies across many products. If the manufacturer, representative, country of origin, warnings, or document links vary by product, complete those details in the product profile instead.
Why does the storefront block show nothing?
Confirm that storefront disclosure is enabled for the product, at least one visible disclosure field is saved, and the theme app block is placed on the product template being previewed. For the first QA pass, leave EU-only visibility off so the block can be seen from any storefront country.
Can I show the block only to EU visitors?
Yes. The app supports an optional EU-only display preference for merchants who want that storefront behavior. The default is visible to all visitors so setup and review are straightforward; EU-only visibility is a display preference, not legal advice about where disclosure is required.
What should I send to support?
Send the store domain, product handle or title, which field or theme block behavior is affected, and screenshots if helpful. Do not send private credentials or unnecessary personal data.
