How to use Kedalion Sentinel for Jira Cloud.

Kedalion Sentinel for Jira Cloud is a Forge app for scanning selected Jira projects, storing redacted findings, and keeping review state while issue edits remain under your team's control in Jira.

1. Open the app

  1. Install the app in Jira Cloud.
  2. Open Kedalion Sentinel from the Jira apps menu or project page.
  3. Wait for the app to load project context and saved settings.

2. Select projects and policies

Choose the Jira projects to scan and confirm the policy packs that match the sensitive data categories you want to detect.

3. Run the first scan

Use the manual scan control to start a run. The app stores scan history, redacted evidence, severity, confidence, and review state so the team can act without exposing raw values in the UI.

4. Review and sign off

Use the filters to separate open findings, resolved findings, and false positives. Reviewers can resolve, reopen, and record notes so sign-off history stays attached to the finding.

5. Use the self-serve docs or open support
